About me

Hi, I'm Ariel.

I'm a User Experience Designer based in Austin, Texas, focused on creating human-centered experiences within complex systems. My background spans healthcare, research, visual design, and community leadership, but the thread connecting all of my work is a desire to make complicated things feel understandable and approachable.

Over the past several years, I've designed digital experiences for clinical research studies, partnering with stakeholders across product, engineering, and healthcare to translate technical requirements, regulatory constraints, and user needs into intuitive solutions. I enjoy digging into problems, asking questions, and uncovering the insights that help teams make better decisions.

What I love most about UX is the opportunity to bridge the gap between people and technology. Whether I'm conducting research, mapping workflows, organizing information, or refining interactions, I'm motivated by creating experiences that help people accomplish their goals with confidence.

I'm also deeply interested in community-building and lifelong learning. Outside of my design work, I volunteer with Young Women's Alliance, where I help shape recruitment and member experience initiatives for a community of professional women in Austin.

When I'm away from my computer, you'll usually find me reading, exploring local businesses, or spending time with family and friends (including my cats Ravioli and Tortellini).
